The daughter of a Western Cape high school principal who was gunned down on Friday says her mother’s fight against corruption led to her killing. 46-year-old Zameka Mfubesi, a principal of Umyezo Wama Apile High in Grabouw outside Cape Town, was shot several times. Mfubesi has been described as a dynamic leader. Her daughter Olwethu says her mother was a principled woman. She believes the attack was planned.
